Sorry to the delay in posting. Getting adjusted at home with a newborn and a toddler has been a little more work that I anticipated! (The large dark Gucci bags under my eyes will prove it! I know all you moms can sympathize with me. LOL)
I thought I would post a small, but great praise report. As you all know, in December my husband had back surgery. It left him in great pain, and the doctor anticipated he would have to endure a second and more intense surgery. Almost two weeks ago he had three cortisone epidural injections in his back. The doctor suggested we try this before proceeding with the second surgery. To our surprise, the injections worked, and Sam is almost pain free! Thank you Jesus! I can't tell you how relieved we are. The next step is to find out how long these injections will work. For now, we'll just rejoice in this blessing.
On another positive note, yesterday at church our Sunday School Bus outreach team, otherwise known as the "Blue Bombers", broke the attendance record - there were a total of 86 bus kids in Sunday School and an additional six families from the bus route in church yesterday morning. Our goal for Easter Sunday is 100+, and I have no doubt we will hit that number. Our little bus only holds 28 max so the outreach team has to make multiple trips to the surrounding neighborhoods. Soon families with SUVs in our church will be helping out with the overload too. It's a very exciting time of revival at the First Church. Be sure to stop by for a visit if you live in our area. There is nothing like it!
For now life has slowed down for me greatly. I am at home most of the time tending to the kiddies. I do not dare venture out with the both kids. I attempted this last week when I had to go to the pharmacy for a prescription. That was enough to keep me in doors for a while.
I have had a chance to catch up on some reading, however. I will post on the four books I read recently in another post. My tired brain won't let me remember the titles of the books or the authors - now that's scary! Currently, I am reading The Princess from Lori Wick. So far it's pretty good. I can hardly wait to find out the ending. Check back in the near future to find out if this one is worth reading.
If I don't get a chance to post soon, have a good week!

Monica,
Great news about Sam! I did pray that he would not have to have the surgery. I know it can be overwhelming at times getting used to two young ones, but you will adjust. Hope you have many happy days enjoying your beautiful boys.
Good to hear about your husband feeling well.
For managing with two little boys, well you'll be ax expert at it before you know it.
So glad to hear that Sam is doing better, and that you are up and about. Taking care of two little ones can be all consuming. Kellee keeps me posted as to how you guys are doing.
I am trying to catch up on blogs. It was great to read your husband is doing better. Now, while the pain is nearly gone, we need to pray the back will heal entirely.
The baby is darling. Enjoy these moments because they fly away too soon. Congrats!
