Life Update

Ethan was enjoying an ice cream sandwich. I can only guess who bought this for him. Hmmmm?
Jon-Paul and I freezing on the beach!

Here's Ethan wearing himself out on the beach - He actually outlasted all of us adults! LOL

Howdy!

Well, once again I have managed to unintentionally neglect my blog. I apologize to my faithful readers (kidding). Anyhow, let me give you a quick update on what has been going on in our lives.

I went and spent five days in Fresno to visit my mom. I always enjoy spending time with my mom and shopping in Fresno, but I don't appreciate the heat! It was super hot as usual, but the kids and I had a great time of relaxation and fun.

The day we came back from Fresno, Sam and I took the kids to the circus. We were blessed by a dear friend with tickets - thank you thank you thank you. Ethan was so amazed by the animals, he talked about it for days. Sam does have some pics from our evening out, but I have not been able to wrestle them away from him as he is busy working on other stuff. Pictures will follow - someday.

Labor Day weekend we went camping to Castanoa on Highway 1 with Kellee, the Wests, the Prendez and the Othons. This was so much fun! We ate like kings and queens. (I want to say a big fat thank you to my friends that made this trip happen. I appreciate your true friendship more than you will ever know. We may have stuffed our faces the entire time, but this trip was medicine for my grief.) After this week is over a diet is mandatory for me!

As of today, Jon-Paul sounds like a baby seal from the croup and is in the process of cutting teeth. I have a funeral on Friday as well as a nursery staff meeting. I am a busy bee.

I promise to do my best not to neglect my blog. Quite honestly, I have made time to browse everyone else's blogs, but do not even have the energy to comment. Please keep checking in often - I just might surprise you. To all of you who like to peek, please leave a friendly note - I would love to know who visits once in a while. I hope all is well with all of you!

Glad you are back in blog world. Really missed you and your updates on the kids. Heard about your time at Castanoa (what a beautiful, peaceful place it is). And those menus! Seems like all you guys did was cook and eat. lol

Who needs to diet when u have Ethan?! Omgooosh! If he could, he would have wrestled me to the ground. I blame Brandon for turning him into a rip snorting fire breathing dragon/dinosaur! I think I burned 350 calories just sitting next to Ethan. :o)

Here I am again. When I read about the ice cream sandwich, my heart was pricked so....I checked to see if the culprit was who I thought it was. Sure enough, I was right on. She has a way of making kids happy while at the same time messing up their clothes. But who couldn't help but I love her. lol

Welcome back to blogland! I have been wanting to take Jace to the circus too! We recently took him to the State Fair and all he's been talking about is going back and seeing the animals! Ethan is so cute! We need to get them together for a playdate one of these days! Love ya!

Hi Monica,

It sounds like you have been a busy lady. Your kids are adorable. I always enjoy seeing pictures of them. Isn't it great to eat like a queen? Ah, I miss those days when I could eat whatever I want and not gain a pound. Oh well, I plan on eating royally at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb for there I will have a glorified body. LOL

My friend ~ you are still alive ~ LOL ~

Glad to hear you guys are doing good. As I type, I am sitting on a cliff in Mendocino listening to the waves....so relaxing.
Hope you got lots of sleep in Fresno and did some shopping.
If I can get my hubby to take a saturday off, maybe you guys can come down for dinner? We can stick the kids out back in the playhouse and we could just sit talk, eat, gossip, eat, eat, eat, eat gossip, eat, eat ~ LOL~
Miss you guys!!!!!

Sis. Hopper - I am doing my best to keep up with the blog thing, but really I am lucky to check my email once in a while! LOL Castanoa was great - next year you must join us!

Leah - What in the world would I do without you and Kellee? I am looking forward to next year!

Chandra - I am thrilled you were able to join us for dinner, and apologize for my son! He is a big ball of energy. Obviously, his energy is not enough for me to lose weight! LOL Hope to see you soon.

Hi Chris - Yes, you know how my life has been these past weeks! Crazy is how I can sum it up!

Vonney - Really, I would love to get together sometime for a play date! The Fountains sounds like the perfect place! Yipeeeeeee

Sis. Connell - Well I am no longer young and can no longer eat whatever I want without it affecting me somehow - that's why I am nice and plump! LOL Thanks for checking in.

Lacy - Yes, we should get together soon - A trip to Aldeberto's is WAY overdue!

Rose - I can't wait to see the basketball! Ethan asked for you a few days ago - he said, Where's Rosie?" He misses you too. Love you!

Noel - Girl, I miss you - let's try to get together soon. I am so happy to hear you are attending church in Hollister. Lucky duck! Your daughter, too has gotten so big and beautiful just like her mamma!
