On Friday, 1/25/08, a few precious gals from church had a lovely baby shower for me hosted in the home of Sonia Hernandez. She and Leah West did most of the planning/decorating, and had lots of help from some of the other ladies. I wanted to say a great big THANK YOU to all that helped out and to all the drove in the weary weather to be there to celebrate with me. I enjoyed the yummy food and the wonderful fellowship of each of you. Additionally, I can't thank you all enough for the special gifts I received. I was especially touched by the generosity of Sonia, Leah, Kellee, Tina and Trish for purchasing our double stroller! I wasn't even expecting it, but God knew what I needed! May God bless each of you for being such a blessing to me! I really cannot thank you enough. Love you all.

I love the cake. When those wrapped frostings first came out, I wouldn't order a cake without it. And still love them. Glad you got the stroller (Kellee had already told me about it). Well, you really rest now - you only have a couple of days left until Jon-Paul is greeting the world.
Monica,
I'm so glad your shower turned out beautifully. Sonia & Leah are so sweet.
I'm so sorry I was unable to attend. Clay was so ill last week that I didn't leave the house almost all week.
I can't wait to see that precious bundle of joy! I agree with Karen, you need to get as much rest as you can! You deserve it!
P.S. Is it going to be Nicholas or Zion? I think either one is a handsome name. :)
How adorable! What a cute cake!
Hope all is well for you!
Sis. Hopper,
Trust me, I've love to rest, but there's lots to do! Tomorrow is the big day and I will be relieved when it is all over. I promise to have my hubby post some pics.
Shannon,
We missed you on Friday night, but I totally understand. I hope Clay is feeling better. I'm pretty sure it's going to be Zion, but I'm still holding out for Nicholas! LOL
Vonney,
Thanks for your comments! I will not be posting after tomorrow for some time, but be sure to keep in touch!
Sis,
You have been on my mind when I got up during the night and this morning. Prayers have gone up for you.
C-sections are usually early, so you probably are holding your new precious little bundle by now. We are all waiting for your hubby to post a picture or two!!!
P.S. Rest, rest, rest... while you can :)
God bless you,
Sis Catherine
